Mechanical release levers. Fusion fabrication worked with a customer who was developing a less expensive mechanical version of a height-adjustable LCD Monitor Mount. The team had a goal of minimizing cost while providing a simple and attractive means of adjusting the height of a Monitor on a medical cart. A ratcheting spring loaded finger was proposed and a Fusion fabrication produced the initial prototypes to confirm the concept and give a visual feel. The customer liked the prototypes and further pursued the design to completion by ordering tooling for injection molded parts and pass production.

Fixtures.  Fusion Fabrication has produced multiple working fixtures for various customers, from precision drilling fixtures specifically catered and uniquely designed around production parts that need in house modifications done, to fixtures that help automotive manufacturers work on production vehicle windows.

Temple of Vesta. Andrew worked with a historical novelist to recreate an ancient Roman temple that is no longer in existence. He and the author poured over research of ancient records of the temple and the remaining ruins to design, print, and paint a historically accurate model of the temple. The design took 30+ hours and the print itself took 20+ hours to complete.
